Here's To Feeling Good All The Time

Signal Home, a now-defunct band from Meadville, PA featuring my friends Troy Messerall and Fred Oakman, have posted their discography on Bandcamp.  This includes an EP (with the band’s original demo and other tracks), an album (with 2 new bonus tracks), and a live EP (released for the first time).  All 3 releases are available for streaming and pay-what-you-want downloads.

Fred Oakman (a fellow Meadville native) has posted his new EP, ‘The God Fearing Boy’ for pre-order on his Bandcamp page.  Anyone who pre-orders the CD will receive an immediate download of the entire EP including the bonus track ‘Come To Grips’.  Fred recorded the EP with Troy Messerall, a friend of mine from our days together in The Walnut Street Project.  Fred previously played guitar and sang for The Twirpentines and Signal Home.

Adding to the very good second album from The Twirpentines (‘Goodnight, Porchlight’) and the excellent debut album from Signal Home (‘A Fragile Constitutional’), ‘The God Fearing Boy’ is a nice addition to the list of Fred’s releases.  His other solo releases include a split record with Fleets, an EP of demos, and a song called ‘Tired, Weak, And Poor’ on the Disconnect Disconnect Records Volume One compilation.
