Louis C.K. on the B.S. Report →
I regularly listen to the B.S. Report (Bill Simmons’s podcast) and this week, Bill had Louis C.K. as a guest. I’m sure that Louis is doing plenty of promotion for his new comedy special, but I think anyone who like Louis would enjoy this podcast. It was an hour and a half split into two parts. You can download the podcast at the link and you can buy Louis’s new special here.

Latterman - Our Better Halves (live in Philadelphia - December 2, 2011) According to a thread over at Vinyl Collective, this song was written in 2007 for a compilation that never got released.  The song was self-released by the band on a one-sided 7” that was sold at the recent string of reunion shows.  Limited to 1000 copies, it’s been available sporadically online from Dead Broke...

Red State
I watched Red State on DVD this past week.  It was written and directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma), but it was unlike any of the other Kevin Smith movies.  It was part horror, part action, and part comedy.  It was a strange movie but I enjoyed it.

Pearl Jam looking in the mirror
Pearl Jam recently posted this photo on Twitter and Facebook.  I think it’s cool for two reasons: (1) it’s just cool, and (2) it pays homage to a photo of the band taken a long time ago and used for the cover of Rearviewmirror (the band’s greatest hits release).
